Award for Outstanding Contributions to Postbaccalaureate, Graduate, and Professional Education: Tom Molitor
In March 2007, Tom Molitor, professor in the Veterinary Population Medicine Department, was chosen to receive a University Award for Outstanding Contributions to Postbaccalaureate, Graduate, and Professional Education. The award recognizes Dr. Molitor as a member of a very distinguished group of faculty who exemplify the University of Minnesota's commitment to quality education. It also signals his pending induction into the Academy of Distinguished Teachers.
Dr. Molitor will receive an engraved sculpture, a lapel pin, and a certificate, as well as a salary augmentation. Funds will also be given to the Veterinary Population Medicine Department for his use. He and other award recipients will be recognized at a ceremony at the McNamara Alumni Center on April 23 at 3:30 p.m.
