Ben Pomeroy Student-Alumni Learning Center

In 2007, the College of Veterinary Medicine re-opened the renovated 1907 dairy barn on the University of Minnesota St. Paul campus. The last two years, the building has been transformed into the Ben Pomeroy Student-Alumni Learning Center, providing the College of Veterinary Medicine with much-needed classrooms, seminar space, offices, and conference rooms.

University of Minnesota Equine Center

The Equine Center, August 2007

The unique design of the Equine Center provides a functional high-tech space for performance and lameness examinations and reproduction therapies. With its indoor arena, high speed treadmill, digital radiography, and access to bone, CT, and soon MRI scans, the Center allows an unprecedented examination of a horse's performance, facilitating detection of subtle abnormalities. The Center's creative design allows for future expansion so that the entire equine program can be incorporated into the facility.
