Claire Cannon, BVSc (hons)

Claire has made the longest journey to join the oncology staff of the University of Minnesota Veterinary Medical Center. She comes to us from Australia. A graduate of the University of Melbourne, she had 2 years experience in a mixed practice and then completed a 1-year internship in Sydney. Her current position of Oncology Resident started in July 2009 and is a 3-year study. She enjoys the dogs hanging out in the oncology office allowing her the opportunity to play, as her pets are still in Australia (Maxine and Sean, her 2 feline friends). Outside of work she enjoys hiking, reading and live music.
