SAVMA Symposium
March 19-21, 2015
The University of Minnesota, College of Veterinary Medicine has been chosen to host the Student American Veterinary Medical Association (SAVMA) Symposium. This is an annual three day conference planned entirely by veterinary students, and the host AVMA accredited veterinary school is selected by the SAVMA executive board based on individual proposals each year. We are delighted that the University of Minnesota has been chosen for this exciting opportunity for veterinary students from across the globe to develop as future veterinary professionals, and we are confident we will exceed the tradition of excellence. Approximately 1,400 veterinary students will attend lectures, wet labs, academic and athletic competitions, and social events during their time at the Symposium, which is to be held at the Hyatt Regency in downtown Minneapolis.
