Minnesota is the site of five days focused on One Health, One Medicine, and One Science
April 27-30 - International Conference on One Medicine One Science
The four day conference serving as a global forum for: communication of current, groundbreaking science that addresses pressing issues at the interface of animals, humans and the environment; facilitating increased international collaboration aimed at addressing the threat of emerging zoonotic diseases, food- and water-borne pathogens, and challenges in environmental health; and engagement between health policy makers and pertinent scientific experts on issues of high importance to animal, human and environmental health.
May 1 – One Health Partnerships Workshop: Seeing One Health at Work
This one day workshop hosted by the Center for Animal Health and Food Safety will explore how One Health works in the ‘real world’. Groups of workshop participants will visit One Health practitioners in government, academia, community and the private sector to discuss how and why they are working across disciplines to solve challenges at the interface of animals, humans and the environment. The workshop concludes with a discussion and synthesis of real world One Health Partnerships.
