College of Veterinary Medicine Linda is the Director of Operations for the Center for Animal Health and Food Safety (CAHFS) in the College of Veterinary Medicine (CVM) and the Global Initiative for Food Systems Leadership (GIFSL). The initiatives of the Center are focused on collaborative research and education on issues at the interface of human, animal and environmental health. As Director for the Center, Linda develops and nurtures strategic partnerships with national and global stakeholders in industry, governmental, and inter-governmental organizations. She also identifies and develops strategic partnerships across the University of Minnesota to advance and support the Center’s One Health initiatives. Before coming to the University, Linda held executive leadership roles in healthcare, environmental science, and clinical chemistry.
