Kleven, Stanley


Dr. Stanley Kleven and Dean Klausner Dr. Stanley Kleven, who received his D.V.M. in 1965 and his Ph.D. in 1970 from the University of Minnesota, received the Distinguished Research Alumni Award at the College's Points of Pride Research Days event in 2003. The head of the University of Georgia's Department of Avian Medicine, Kleven has developed highly effective research and service programs for avian mycolplasma, a deadly bacterial infection.
