Dr. Gary Duke Lecture Fund

In Tribute to Dr. Gary Duke, co-founder of The Raptor Center

In August 2006 , we lost a good friend, mentor, and co-founder of The Raptor Center, Dr. Gary Duke. Dr. Duke’s passion for education, raptors, and the environment was astounding and has left us with a wealth of memories of Dr. Duke’s time here at the University. It is with great pride and pleasure that we offer a unique matching gift opportunity to help ensure Dr. Duke’s legacy for generations to come.

In appreciation of Dr. Duke’s work, good friends of the Duke family have established an endowment fund in memory of Dr. Duke at The Raptor Center.  This fund has been designated to create a yearly lecture series on avian medicine for community members, students, faculty, staff, and volunteers.
