Thank you for supporting the College of Veterinary Medicine Philanthropy is a powerful force in sustaining our college. Since it was founded in 1947, the College of Veterinary Medicine (CVM) has relied on private grants, in addition to other sources, to fulfill its mission of teaching, research, and service. You can decide how your gift will impact the CVM. You can provide financial assistance through scholarships to support students eager to make their contributions to society. You can help strengthen the academic core by supporting faculty and research. You can support your favorite clinician, center, or department, or honor a special animal or animal lover. Students get more financial help, faster. Typically, an endowment fund starts small and grows over four years. Fast Start 4 Impact changes that. Fast Start awards students right away, in an amount that is roughly equivalent to the payout of a fully established fund. After four years, your new endowment fund takes over. Even better, it continues to help students far into the future. How it works
