Welcome to the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine!  We want you to have the best experience possible while visiting our college.  There are several steps which must be taken by international students before beginning any program at the College of Veterinary Medicine.

Contact with the College
All international students must first make contact with the college.  Even if you have already been in contact with a faculty member when you arrive, please make sure to also make contact with the Academic and Student Affairs office.

Required Paperwork
Several forms also must be submitted before students can begin any program within the College.  Please click here for copies of the required forms, along with instructions for each.

Insurance
Insurance offered through Boynton Health Service is required of all international students and scholars at the University of Minnesota.  Other insurance coverage is not accepted.  Please go to http://www.bhs.umn.edu/insurance/international.htm for the International Students and Scholars Health Benefit Plan information.
