Program Advisory Committee
The role of the Program Advisory Committee (PAC) is to provide a broad base of input to the Director of Graduate Studies (DGS) from graduate faculty and graduate students enrolled in the Veterinary Medicine Graduate Program. The PAC will consist of one graduate faculty member from each of the five tracks (Infectious Diseases, Comparative Medicine and Pathology, Population Medicine, Surgery/Radiology/Anesthesiology, and Theriogenology), one at-large faculty member from within the program, and one graduate student representative. The immediate past DGS serves as ex-officio PAC member.
The specific responsibilities of the PAC include:
1. Recruitment and admission of new students
2. Review of student programs in conjunction with the DGS
3. Review of graduate student progress in conjunction with the DGS
4. Review of graduate faculty memberships
5. Annual review of the DGS
6. Annual report by graduate faculty on DGS, graduate faculty and graduate faculty program review by the students.
