Research

My research interests lie in the fields of microbiology and canine urology.  As part of my PhD thesis, I am currently investigating the role of oxalate degrading bacteria of canine gastrointestinal tract in calcium oxalate urolith formation in dogs. Long term goal of my study is to design a probiotic to prevent recurrence of calcium oxalate stone formation in dogs.
