The theme of 2013 Leman China Swine Conference is PRRS prevention and control including topics like: - Porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome (PRRS) – disease situation in China and US, prevention and and elimination strategy, diagnostic molecular biology for identification and testing, farm management practice, vaccination, case study
- Swine production management (in U.S. and China) - farm construction, environmental and disease control, biosecurity, breeding, veterinary and diagnostic services
- Use of production data for disease diagnosis, epidemiology study, and management efficiency
- Use of antibiotics and food safety
- Important and emerging diseases (e.g., APP, Glasser’ s disease, PED, etc.) - diagnostic microbiology and molecular biology, surveillance and control
