Written Directions

From north of the Twin Cities metro area
Take Interstate 35W south to the Cleveland Ave exit. It is a left exit. Follow Cleveland Avenue south to Larpenteur Avenue. Turn left (east) to the first stoplight, Gortner Avenue. Turn right (south) on Gortner and drive past three stop signs. The entrance to the Small Animal parking lot is the first driveway on the right after the Fitch Avenue stop sign. For the entrance to the Large Animal parking lot, follow Gortner Ave south to Commonwealth Avenue. Turn right and drive one block to Boyd Avenue. Turn right onto Boyd and make another right into the parking lot. You will need a parking permit to park in these lots.

From south of the Twin Cities metro area
Take Interstate 35W north to Interstate 94 East. Go three miles on 94 East to Highway 280. This is a left exit. Follow Highway 280 north to the Larpenteur Avenue exit. Turn right and drive east for 1 1/2 miles to Gortner Avenue. Turn right and go south on Gortner past three stop signs. The entrance to the Small Animal parking lot is the first driveway on the right after the Fitch Avenue stop sign. For the entrance to the Large Animal parking lot, follow Gortner Ave south to Commonwealth Avenue. Turn right and drive one block to Boyd Avenue. Turn right onto Boyd and make another right into the parking lot. You will need a parking permit to park in these lots.

From west of the Twin Cities metro area
Take Interstate 94 East to Highway 280. This is a left exit. Go north on 280 to the Larpenteur Avenue exit. Turn right and drive east for approximately 1 1/2 miles to Gortner Avenue. Turn right and drive south on Gortner Avenue, passing three stop signs. The entrance to the Small Animal parking lot is the first driveway on the right after the Fitch Avenue stop sign. For the entrance to the Large Animal parking lot, follow Gortner Ave south to Commonwealth Avenue. Turn right and drive one block to Boyd Avenue. From east of the Twin Cities metro area
Take Interstate 94 West to Highway 280. Go north on 280 to the Larpenteur Avenue exit. Turn right, driving east approximately 1 1/2 miles to Gortner Avenue.
