Software

The MN Best Practices software is currently in development. The software will be able to be used by practitioners to track their VCPR visits by farm and VCPR area, develop disease treatment protocols and create printable prescriptions based on disease treatment protocols for a specific farm. Drug prescription amounts will be calculated by using farm specific disease incidence information to aid the veterinarian in determining the proper amount of drug to prescribe for a six month period. Software is expected to begin initial testing in pilot clinics during the late fall of 2003 or winter of 2004.
