U of M Veterinary School at Minnesota State Fair

MINNEAPOLIS / ST. PAUL (Aug. 25, 2006) – The College of Veterinary Medicine specializes in the medical care and health of Minnesota’s farm and companion animals as well as raptors. Come visit our veterinarians, students, and volunteers during the Minnesota State Fair from Friday, August 25, through Monday, September 4, to learn how they impact the lives of Minnesotans every day through their teaching, research, and outreach.

Assisted by veterinary students, veterinarians will perform spays, neuters, and other surgeries on cats and dogs, and discuss the importance of population control.
