PUB/CVM/SmallAnimalEmergencyBookDr. Lisa Powell is author of new book
Small Animal Emergency and Critical Care: Case Studies in Client Communication, Morbidity and Mortality, a new book by Lisa Powell, Elizabeth Rozanksi, and John Rush, has been published by Wiley-Blackwell, the international scientific, technical, and medical publishing company.

The book includes 71 case studies in four parts: medical and treatment errors, medical judgment errors, lessons in client communication, and communication issues between colleagues and hospital staff.

Lisa Powell is an associate clinical professor in emergency and critical care at the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine; Elizabeth Rozanski and John Rush are clinical professors at Tufts University Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine. All three are board-certified diplomates of the American College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care.
