Faculty and staff share information at Signature Program Research Retreat

The College of Veterinary Medicine held its Signature Program Research Retreat at the Cargill Building March 22-23. The event featured two half-day sessions of research presentations by members of the faculty to raise awareness of research interests overlapping across disciplines and encourage synergy and collaboration among the College's signature programs.

Throughout both days, researchers, faculty, and staff shared information, gave updates, and provided insights on many of the projects they are working on and hope to pursue.

Dr. Srirama Rao, associate dean for research, declared the event a success.

"I am very pleased and excited about the outcome of the retreat," he says. "It was great to see all of the ideas and information that were shared. The retreat will provide the fuel for even more notable research at the College. I look forward to doing this again next year."
