Advanced Periodontal Treatment & Pain Management
8 a.m.-noon

Lecture: 1 hour
Introduction to pain management, dental blocks, and advanced periodontal treatment

Hands-on laboratory:
 3 hours
Session includes periodontal instrumentation, periodontal debridement, root planning, doxirobe treatment, and nerve blocks

Cost:
$195 - veterinarian
$165 - technician

Radiology Techniques – Interpretation & Positioning
1–5 p.m.
Saturday, May 10, 2008

Lecture: 1 hour
Indications for radiology, radiology technique, and an interactive radiology interpretation discussion.  Please bring your own dental radiographs for consultation and discussion.

Hands-on laboratory: 3 hours
Session includes a review of radiology equipment, materials, and supplies and a hands-on wet lab demonstrating proper technique and positioning.

Cost:
$175 - veterinarian
$145 - technician

Cost of both sessions (morning and afternoon):
$350 - veterinarian
$290 - technician
