Award for Outstanding Contributions to Postbaccalaureate, Graduate, and Professional Education: Carl Osborne, College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Minnesota

Dr. Carl Osborne

At the University of Minnesota's Distringuished Teaching Awards ceremony on April 25, 2005, Dr. Carl Osborne received an Award for Outstanding Contributions to Postbaccalaureate, Graduate, and Professional Education. Dr. Osborne is a professor in the Veterinary Clinical Sciences Department.

In a letter announcing the award, Emily Hoover, chair of the Senate Committee on Educational Policy, wrote, "Your receipt of this award recognizes you as a member of a very distinguished group of faculty who exemplify the University of Minnesota's commitment to quality education."

Dr. Osborne received an engraved sculpture, a lapel pin, a certificate, and a $3,000 salary augmentation. His department will also receive $1,500 for five years for Dr. Osborne's professional use.
