Job Description

POSITION:    Web site Project/Communications Intern

JOB DESCRIPTION: Design a creative, interactive, historical timeline tool for the College of Veterinary Medicine using HTML, Dream Weaver and FileNET applications.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

•    Work closely with the communications unit to design and build an interactive web site history timeline

•    Scan historic images and crop photos

•    Organize materials and create slideshow with voice over, music and captions

QUALIFICATIONS:

•    Creative knowledge of various web applications, code and or FileNET Web Content Management

•    Knowledge of scanning documents and photos, cropping, PDF applications

SKILLS: Desire to expand web site experience and hands on practice, creative ability to work independently and complete job in a timely manner

IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR:     Marketing/Web Coordinator

HOURS:    Flexible, desire 10-15 hours per week

COMPENSATION:    This internship is unpaid.
