The Equine Center represents a comprehensive program identified as a “Program of Excellence” within the College of Veterinary Medicine. This program, anchored by the new Equine Center facility, will build upon an internationally recognized equine research program to make further innovative advancements with an emphasis on equine performance; provide a broad scope of educational opportunities within the equine industry, including community outreach programs; and expand interdisciplinary collaborations involving faculty from many of the Colleges within the University.
