Research Interests

Dendritic cells are potent antigen presenting cells, also known as professional antigen presenting cells, with the unique capacity to prime the immune response. Porcine Reproductive and Respiratory Syndrome Virus (PRRSV), a pathogen that was unrecognized more than 10 years ago, is one of the most prevalent infectious diseases in the pig industry around the world. The immune response of infected pigs against PRRSV is not sterile. My research is aiming at improving pig immunity to PRRSV through the help of dendritic cells.

Interests and Activities

Fishing and spending time with my family.
