Hill's College Feeding Program moves to online ordering system
The way that Hills food is ordered is about to change. How will this affect you?

Starting June 2, all food ordering will be done online through the Hills online ordering system at https://www.summationdata.com/hpn. This means that there will be no more paper ordering. The Web page provides instructions on how to create an account and log in. This is required to place food orders.

Food limits
The same food limits will apply: 50 pounds of food per registered dog, 10 pounds per registered cat, 60 pounds total per month (regardless of how many animals are registered). As a reminder, cases of 24 15-ounce cans count as 25 pounds, cases of 12 15-ounce cans (new!) count as 12.5 pounds, cases of 24 5.5-ounce cans count as 10 pounds, and cases of 24 3-ounce cans count as 5 pounds. One case of treats may be ordered per month above and beyond the 60-pound maximum.

Prescription food
You will not be able to order prescription food online until you have turned in a prescription, as your registration status needs to be modified to enable this function. If you already have a prescription on file, we will modify your registration automatically. Please allow a few days from the time of registration before placing your order, so we have time to perform these modifications. If you need to turn in a prescription, please place it in one of the Hills order boxes. Make sure your name is printed clearly on the prescription. Please note that after June 1, the only box that will be available is the one in 460a VMC (the kitchen on the fourth floor of the Veterinary  Medical Center down the hallway toward the accounting offices).

The anticipated launch of this system will be for July orders. The Hill's site will be open for ordering on June 2, and orders will be taken until July 6.

Check the Web site for order deadlines, distribution dates, and other announcements. Hill's program coordinators hope for a smooth transition to the online ordering system, but please watch your e-mail, as this is a new process and there may be updates or changes. If you have any questions or concerns, contact Katie Cartledge, cart0333@umn.edu, Jaime Nett, nett0049@umn.edu, or Alisha Leonard, leona156@umn.edu.
