
Gary Goldstein
Dr. Goldstein received his DVM in 1984 from the University of Minnesota. In 1987 he became a Charter Fellow of the Academy of Veterinary Dentistry and in 1991 became board certified and a member of the American Veterinary Dental College. Dr. Goldstein has a wide range of experience. He managed a veterinary emergency referral group in Texas; owned and managed a specialty dentistry practice, the Gulf Coast Veterinary Dental Clinic, also in Texas; and served as an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Dentistry at Texas A & M University. In April 2002 he joined the faculty at the University of Minnesota as an Associate Clinical Specialist, and Director of the Veterinary Dental Service.

Ian Dacre
Dr. Dacre received his Bachelor of Veterinary Science at Massey University in 1990, and his Doctor of Philosophy in 2004 at the University of Edinburgh. He is a member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons, the British Equine Veterinary Association and the Society for the Protection of Animals Abroad (SPANA) Veterinary Council, as well as associate member of the Racecourse Veterinarians Association. From 1995-99 he was the Technical Director at the Society for the Protection of Animals Abroad in Morocco. Prior to that time he worked in a six veterinarian practice – equine and farm animal ambulatory service – in Ceres, Scotland. Dr. Dacre is currently a Senior Lecturer in Equine Health and Welfare (Equine Dentistry), IVABS, Massey University, New Zealand, and Senior Advisor, Animal Welfare, Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, New Zealand.

Dave Klugh
Dr. Klugh graduated from Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1981. In 2003 he became the first Equine Fellow in the Academy of Veterinary Dentistry. He is also a member of the American Association of Equine Practitioners, the Oregon Veterinary Medical Association, the American Veterinary Medical Association and the American Veterinary Dental Society. After 18 years of general equine practice, Dr. Klugh’s work is exclusively equine dentistry. In addition to routine dental care, he provides referral services that include treating periodontal disease, performing restorative dentistry, correction of orthodontic problems, intraoral and surgical extractions, intraoral radiography, endodontic therapy and various other surgical treatments.

Michael Lowder
Dr. Lowder received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Tuskegee University in 1989 and Master of Science degrees from Auburn University in 1997 and Brigham Young University in 1985. He is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the American Association of Equine Practitioners and the American Veterinary Dental Society. Dr. Lowder is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Large Animal Medicine at the University of Georgia, as well as section chief for Field Services. From 1992-96 he was an Assistant Professor in the School of Veterinary Medicine at Tuskegee University.
