The purpose of this course is to provide participants with a fundamental understanding of canine sporting events, normal structure and locomotion as it applies to canine performance, conditioning and targeted rehabilitation for the canine athlete, lameness evaluation, canine sports medicine injuries, ergogenic drugs, stress and nutrition for the canine athlete. Skills learned in this course will allow graduates to bring benefit to canine athletes, their owners and their veterinarians.
