Research Day

The Office of the Associate Dean for Research is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2015 Distinguished Research Alumnus Award, the Zoetis Award for Excellence in Research, the Distinguished Partner Award and the Mark of Excellence in Research award. These awards recognize the efforts of researchers who have demonstrated outstanding research achievements to advance knowledge in their field of expertise and organizations that contribute and enhance CVM's overall research mission including education and outreach.

The award ceremony will be held during our annual Points of Pride Research Day on October 7, 2015 from 3:00-4:30 pm in the Pomeroy Student-Alumni Learning Center. 

Distinguished Research Alumnus Award - Dr. James Lokensgard, Professor, Department of Medicine, University of Minnesota
Zoetis Award for Excellence in Research - Dr. Randall Singer, Professor, Department of Veterinary Biomedical Sciences, College of Veterinary Medicine, University of Minnesota.
Distinguished Partner Award - United States Department of Agriculture, Animal and Plant Health Inspection Services (APHIS)
Mark of Excellence in Research Award - Dr. Fekadu Kassie, Associate Professor, Department of Veterinary Clinical Sciences, College of Veterinary Medicine, University of Minnesota.
