Points of Pride Research Day

What: Points of Pride Research Day showcasing CVM research-related projects and activities
When: 1:30-5:30 p.m. Wednesday, September 25, 2013
Where: Pomeroy Student-Alumni Learning Center, 1964 Fitch Avenue, St. Paul Campus

The University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine (CVM) will hold its annual Points of Pride Research Day on September 25 to celebrate the CVM’s research program and honor faculty, fellows, students, and research partners who contribute to the advancement of biomedical sciences and veterinary medicine.

Points of Pride Research day will include a poster competition, seminars and award presentations. A reception will conclude the day, during which guests can view posters describing current research initiatives and interact with students, staff and faculty.

Nominations

We are currently seeking nominations for the Distinguished Research Alumnus award, Distinguished Research Partner award and Pfizer Animal Health Award for Research Excellence.All nominations should be submitted electronically via email to vetres@umn.edu by March 15, 2013.

Tentative Schedule for 2013 

1:00 - 3:30 pm - Poster Session and Refreshments 
Graduate student, summer scholar, post doctoral scholar and resident posters will be judged.  
**To allow for additional viewing time, unattended posters will be open to the public from 10:30 am - Noon. 

3:00 - 4:30 pm - Seminars and Awards Presentations
