The Hill’s College Feeding Program was established by Hill’s Science Diet to provide funding for veterinary student body needs and activities. One of the goals of the program is to enhance the veterinary community by providing activities to bring students together for social and education purposes. The funding raised by the Hill’s College Feeding Program is used to defer costs of items/activities that will benefit a majority of the student body. The stipulations placed on the funding include:
1) The item/activity must be available to ALL students
2) The item/activity MUST be advertised, and all the advertisements MUST state “Sponsored by Hill’s College Feeding Program”
3) The item/activity must be attended/used by a MAJORITY of the student body
The form that can be downloaded below must be filled out and submitted to a SCAVMA representative by the last Thursday of each month. In addition to that, an individual from the group requesting funding must attend the SCAVMA Executive Board Meeting on the first or second Thursday of the following month (check with a SCAVMA representative to confirm the date and time) and present the proposal.
