Information Officer

The information officer is a voting position on the SCAVMA Executive Board and is primarily responsible for maintaining the SCAVMA website via e-mail to the webmaster and fielding e-mails directed to SCAVMA@umn.edu. The I.O. is also responsible for updating the bulletin board between AS/VS 125/135. The biggest time commitment comes during registration when the I.O. is responsible for setting up and maintaining the online registration.  Depending on how much the I.O. would like/is requested to accomplish, the time commitment varies greatly. You can anticipate spending 1 to 8 hours a week setting up for and during registration, but your time commitment for the rest of the year is much less--monthly executive board meetings and 10-15 minutes a week as needed to update the website.
