Junior SAVMA Delegate

The junior delegate has the responsibility of representing the University of Minnesota SCAVMA organization at the national level. This is accomplished through the attendance at all executive meetings, and taking the chapters concerns to the National House of Delegates meeting twice annually, SAVMA Symposium and AVMA Convention. As a delegate, you also serve on a national committee such as Governmental Action Committee, Emerging Issues, etc... which are set up to mirror our parent organization's (AVMA) structure. In most cases, if you choose to be a chair of the national committee you work on, you also have a seat on the AVMA's committee.
