Parliamentarian

The Parliamentarian functions to advise the SCAVMA executive board about parliamentary procedure during meetings. Thereby, maintaining a certain order so that topics can be dealt with in a logical and appropriate manner. The Parliamentarian is expected to attend all executive meetings and is a voting member. It is a great position allowing you to be a voice on the board with less responsibilities and time requirements than many of the other positions, aside from the time required to become familiar with the parliamentary procedure.
