Sergeant at Arms
The Sergeant at Arms is a voting member of the executive board. This officer must attend Chapter meetings and provide the attendance sheet for SCAVMA members to sign. The Sergeant at Arms is responsible for recording attendance and determining if members are in good standing upon graduation. This position requires approximately 1 to 2 hours after each Chapter meeting to record attendance and occasionally (3 to 4 times per academic year) communicating with SCAVMA members regarding the number of meetings they have attended.
