Treasurer

The Treasurer is responsible for all SCAVMA financial transactions and the maintenance of all SCAVMA accounts, serving as the liaison between SCAVMA and U of M Accounting Services. As such, the Treasurer is involved in all SCAVMA activities, from meetings to clothing sales, Symposium planning, dues collection, and so on. The position also offers the opportunity to be an active member of the SCAVMA Executive Board, which usually meets once a month. The time commitment of the Treasurer is significant: on average, 2-4 hours per week, although this commitment may be up to 6-8 hours, especially in the Fall, when dues are collected.
