For Current VMED MS and PhD Students

The College of Veterinary Medicine offers students pursing advanced degrees in VMED a number of resources to help them complete their degree programs in the most efficient way. Below are a number of links to help students navigate the process.

 

For all MS and PhD students

The VMED course schedule provides a complete list of courses offered over the next two semesters.

You can register for your courses online at Onestop.

Many different seminars are offered throughout the college and University in addition to the weekly graduate student seminar series. The graduate student seminar series calendar alerts you to current topics and speakers.

Students working on either a MS or PhD in Veterinary Medicine need to familiarize themselves with the VMED Program Guidelines.

 

For MS students only

This VMED MS course requirements will help you plan a MS in Veterinary Medicine.

The MS degree timeline provides year-by-year course recommendations so you can efficiently complete your MS degree requirements.

Master’s students are required to schedule semi-annual meetings with their thesis committee to review progress. The Thesis Committee Meeting Status form explains how to complete this process.

You can access online forms for your graduate degree plan, request for examining committee members, and annual student progress report, as well as your graduation packet.

 

For PhD students only

This list of VMED PhD course requirements will help you plan a PhD in Veterinary Medicine.

The PhD degree timeline provides year-by-year course recommendations so you can complete the program efficiently.

PhD students are required to schedule annual meetings with their thesis committee to review progress. The Thesis Committee Meeting Status form explains how to complete this process.
