Clinical Information

The University of Minnesota Equine Center combines the latest advances in technology with our outstanding diagnostic skills to provide solutions that improve performance in all types of equine athletes. We provide an integrated, multidisciplinary approach to evaluate, diagnose and treat poor performance, sports-related injuries, provide preventative care, and foster related research and education. Effective equine sports medicine demands innovative thinking and new approaches to solving old problems so that each horse can achieve its full athletic potential.

The new facilities feature an aqua treadmill, high speed treadmill, specially designed lameness evaluation area, and the best in diagnostic equipment.

Other clinical services at the Equine Center include breeding performance, nutrition, and rehabilitative therapy.
