Educational Background:
PhD – Cell and Molecular Biology, University of Wisconsin – Madison, 2000
B.S. – Biology, Drake University, 1993

Research Interests:
I am interested in examining the differential gene expression in porcine intestinal tissues in response to challenge by various organisms. We have begun by examing differential gene expression of different tissues by microarray. Those genes that are differentially expressed are now being further examined to determine their role in the gut immune response.
