Jennifer Hall, Resident

Dr. Hall is a 2007 graduate of the University of California School of Veterinary Medicine at Davis. Before coming to the University of Minnesota, Dr. Hall worked as an emergency clinician at the VCA West Los Angeles Animal Hospital. Dr. Hall completed a Small Animal Emergency and Critical Care Internship at the University of Pennsylvania and a Rotating Small Animal Internship at VCA West Los Angeles Animal Hospital.

Kelly Hall, Associate Professor of Emergency and Critical Care Medicine

Dr. Hall serves as section chief of the Emergency and Critical Care department and chair of the Animal Trauma Center Committee. Dr. Hall received her DVM from the University of Minnesota. She completed an internship in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery at the Southwest Veterinary Specialty Center in Tucson, Arizona. Dr. Hall is currently completing graduate program in Clinical Research.

Katherine Peterson, Resident

Dr. Peterson earned her DVM from the University of Minnesota. She completed an emergency internship at Animal Emergency Center in Glendale, Wisconsin.

Lisa Powell, Professor of Emergency and Critical Care Medicine

Dr. Powell completed her veterinary education at Texas A&M University. She completed a Small Animal Rotating Internship at the Animal Medical Center and a residency in Emergency/Critical care at Tufts University. She serves as ICU Director and Residency Supervisor.

Mallory Salcedo, Resident

Dr. Salcedo is a 2011 graduate in veterinary medicine from Washington State University. She completed a rotating internship in surgery and medicine at the Veterinary Specialty Hospital of San Diego.

Julie Schildt, Assistant Professor of Emergency and Critical Care Medicine

Dr. Schildt earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Missouri-Columbia. She completed an internship in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery at the University of Minnesota and a Residency in Small Animal Emergency and Critical Care Medicine at Michigan State University. 

Tara Sime, Resident

Dr. Sime is a 2008 graduate in veterinary medicine from the University of Minnesota. She completed an internship at Animal Emergency Center in Glendale, WI

Kelly Tart, Assistant Professor of Emergency and Critical Care Medicine

Dr. Tart completed her veterinary education at the University of Minnesota. She completed an internship in Emergency and Critical Care through Veterinary Institute of Trauma, Emergency and Critical Care and a residency in Emergency/Critical Care at the University of Minnesota.

Jeff Todd, Assistant Professor of Emergency and Critical Care Medicine

Dr. Todd earned his DVM from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. He completed a residency in Emergency and Critical Care at the University of Minnesota.
