Current Pathology Residents
First-year Residents:  | | Dr. Christina FoutzDr. Foutz received her Bachelor of Science degree from The Pennsylvania State University in 2004. She worked in research for 3 years prior to veterinary school and received her DVM/MPH degree from the University of Minnesota's College of Veterinary Medicine in May 2011. Dr. Foutz began the Anatomic Pathology residency at the University of Minnesota Veterinary Diagnostic Lab in July of 2012. Her pathology interests include diagnostic pathology, food animal pathology, and zoonotic diseases. |
Second-year Residents:  | | Dr. Adrienne Schucker Dr. Schucker received her DVM degree from the University of Veterinary Medicine in June of 1999. She worked in private practice and biomedical research and has now joined the University of Minnesota anatomic pathology residency program in July of 2011. Her interests include comparative pathology, surgical pathology, toxicologic pathology and diagnostic pathology. |  | | Dr. Christine Watson Dr. Watson received her BVMS degree from the University of Glasgow, Glasgow, Scotland in June 2009. She joined the University of Minnesota anatomic pathology residency program in July, 2011. Her interests include oncologic pathology, infectious disease and general diagnostic pathology. | Third-year Resident:  | | Dr. Brad Goupil Dr. Goupil received his Bachelor of Science in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from the University of Connecticut in 2004, followed by a Master of Science in Biodiversity and Conservation Biology in 2005. He then attended the University of Minnesota’s College of Veterinary Medicine and received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2010. He joined the University of Minnesota anatomic pathology residency program in July, 2010. His interests in pathology include wildlife and emerging zoonotic diseases. |
