VMC - Clinical Investigation Center

The Clinical Investigation Center (CIC) promotes the research mission at the College of Veterinary Medicine by executing and supporting clinical and translational research based on the patients in the Veterinary Medical Center. The mission of the CIC is to develop and facilitate veterinary clinical trials and translational research studies that lead to new drugs, devices, procedures, and treatments for the benefit of animals and humans alike. This is achieved by providing scientific and clinical expertise, world-class facilities, technical staff, and study coordination. With a committed sponsor, the CIC can have your project up and running in 45 days or less, often free of charge.

The CIC has more than 10 years experience completing FDA Phase 1-4 studies, exploring new veterinary devices, treatments, and procedures. CIC Director Mike Conzemius has more than 15 years experience executing FDA, NIH, and veterinary clinical research projects.
