The Veterinary Medical Center (VMC) supports the College of Veterinary Medicine's (CVM) mission of improving the health of animals and people in Minnesota by providing state-of-the-art specialty veterinary services to the region. Partnering with the other service units in the CVM, the VMC is integral in training veterinarians and veterinary technicians to provide quality veterinary care. Clinical research performed in the hospital helps in the discovery and dissemination of new knowledge and skills to promote the veterinary profession, and animal and human health.
