Behavior Services
SERVICES:
The University of Minnesota Veterinary Behavior Service provides diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment for companion animals with one or more of a variety of behavior problems. Examples include pets who are aggressive to people or other animals, or those with unacceptable elimination behaviors. Other pets may be anxious or destructive in their owner’s absence or suffer from excessive fears or phobias. Some exhibit compulsive behavior. Some pets are simply difficult to live with for a variety of other reasons. We also provide pet selection counseling, and behavioral wellness consultations for problem prevention. Consultations are offered either at the VMC or in your own home.
WE DO HOUSE CALLS!
Behavior consultations are offered either in the veterinary teaching hospital in St. Paul, Minnesota or in the convenience of your own home. House call appointments allow the doctor the best chance to evaluate your pet’s home environment and its potential impact on behavior.
FEES...
Please contact us for our current fee schedule. Fees are payable in full at the time of service or when your animal is discharged. Payment can be made by cash, check or one of several major credit cards.
REFERRING VETERINARIAN...
