Services
* Traditional Oriental Medicine to help relieve pain, strengthen the immune system, and improve specific or overall organ function
* Integration of Traditional Oriental Medicine with veterinary health care to treat a variety of conditions, including:
* Musculoskeletal problems; osteoarthritis, muscle strain, neck/back/shoulder pain, postlaminectomy pain, rigidity of neck, back, atrophy of the limbs, flaccidity of limbs, tremor or spasticity of limbs, convulsion, paralysis, hemiplasia, nervous system problems, such as facial nerve paralysis, poliarthritis.
* Skin problems, such as allergic dermatitis, contact dermatitis, nodule under the skin. Red/itchy skin, alopecia.
* Emotional disorder; propensity to anger, worry, fear, anxiety, restlessness.
* Respiratory problems; rhinitis, sinusitis, asthma, study nose, running nose, cough, wheezing, heaves non-surgical colic, chronic bronchitis, common cold, and flu
* Cardiovascular diseases; high blood pressure, high cholesterol
* Gastrointestinal disorders; vomiting, anorexia, nausea, diarrhea, constipation, acid/food regurgitation, drooling, liver/stomach diseases.
* Endocrine/metabolic disorders; hypo or hyper- thyroidism, obesity, diabetes.
* Genitourinary disorder; kidney/bladder disorder, urinary incontinence, recurrent urinary tract infection, kidney/bladder stone, painful urination, scanty/difficult urination, frequent urination, renal disorder.
* Cancer; alleviation of side effect from conventional therapy (chemotherapy, radiation therapy), unconventional therapy for canine and feline cancer.

Hours
Tuesdays (9 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.); Wednesdays and Thursdays (9 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.); Fridays, (12:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.) and at other times by special arrangement. Consultative services are available on request for hospitalized patients.

Useful information
The Integrative Medicine Service uses both Western and Traditional Oriental Medicine for diagnosis and treatment, providing a unique, comprehensive approach to veterinary health care. The patient may also be referred to one of the other specialty services offered by the VMC (such as internal medicine or neurology) before or after being evaluated by the integrative medicine staff.
