Preparation for General Anesthesia
Please note that appropriate testing and preparation must be completed prior to being anesthetized for the medical imaging procedure. The following are the minimum requirements: - Please offer no food after 10pm the night before the procedure. Water can be provided up to hospital admission.
- The testing should meet the requirements listed below.
- Information from the testing should include :
- Hard copies of the labwork results.
- Information regarding when, where and by whom the labwork was performed.
- Fill in the Online Imaging Request form and submit it to us or fill out the Imaging Request pdf form and fax it to us at (612) 626-6733.
- Please note if fine needle aspirates are planned, a platelet count will be indicated within 72 hours of the procedure. If core biopsies are planned, a coagulation profile will be indicated within 72 hours of the procedure.
