The Veterinary Medical Center is located at 1365 Gortner Avenue on the St. Paul campus of the University of Minnesota. The Leatherdale Equine Center and Piper Performance Clinic are several blocks northeast of the Medical Center at 1530 Fairview Avenue. The St. Paul campus adjoins the Minnesota State Fairgrounds halfway between Minneapolis and St. Paul. From north of the Twin Cities metro area: Take Interstate 35W south to the Cleveland Avenue exit. It is a left exit. Follow Cleveland Avenue South to Commonwealth Avenue. Turn left at Commonwealth. Turn left at Boyd Avenue and make an immediate right into the area between two buildings, parking parallel to the Large Animal Hospital on your left. The lobby and check-in entrance is near the 2nd story overhead walkway. From south of the Twin Cities metro area: Take 35W north to Interstate 94 East. Go three miles on 94 East to Highway 280 (left exit). Follow Highway 280 north to Larpenteur Avenue exit. Turn right on Cleveland Avenue to Commonwealth Avenue. Turn left at Commonwealth. Turn left at Boyd Avenue and make an immediate right into the area between two buildings, parking parallel to the Large Animal Hospital on your left.
