Useful information
The Aquapacer Equine Underwater Treadmill System was developed to help equine athletes achieve peak performance. The AquaPacer is used for rehabilitating an injury or as an aid in preparing the performance horse. Therapeutic sessions in the AquaPacer can be fully customized to each horse or pony through variable water heights, variable treadmill speeds, and variable water temperature.

The Game Ready System is used for post-workout therapy, chronic lameness, acute lameness, cellulitis, tendonitis, pre- and post- operative care, and bowed tendons.

For Shock-Wave Therapy, a mild sedative is administered for the course of the treatment, which lasts approximately 20-minutes. Five treatments are administered 10- to 14- days apart, and then the horse is reevaluated. Five additional treatments may be required, although some horses may only need intermittent therapy.

Ultrasound Treatments vary by injury, however, on average they consist of one or two daily treatments of 10- to 15- minutes each for one to two weeks. This is followed by reevaluation.

Electrical Stimulation Treatments are usually administered once or twice weekly at 10- to 15- minutes per site. They are often combined with massage to increase their effectiveness.
