Based at the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine, Blood and Laboratory Support Services offers a convenient, accessible supply of bovine blood, full chemistry and hematology analysis, contract research, and other services to support Minnesota's medical research and device industry.

Quality products and services

Cost effective, readily available, and accurate, bovine blood is ideal for engineering and testing human medical devices. Blood and Laboratory Support Services ships bovine blood products to clients in a professional and timely manner:

• Orders placed by 5:00 p.m. are couriered to Twin Cities-area clients by 8:30 a.m. the next day.
• Blood is drawn the morning it is shipped.
• Blood is either heparinized or citrated, eliminating any need for refrigeration.

Other services include full chemistry and hematology analysis, contract research, referral services, and more.

Proceeds from Blood and Laboratory Support Services  provide the dairy herd used by the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine in the training of new veterinarians.
